Jesus Is On The Throne

As I was in prayer very early this morning, Holy Spirit spoke to me, “Jesus is still on the Throne.  Ask My Church if they will contend for the Faith.”

Jeremiah 29:11 is a familiar verse: “For I know the plans that I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope.”  We must never lose sight of the victory of Christ Jesus; for everyone will give an account to Him for what they did on the Earth. You have a future which is not dependent upon any government of man – trust in the Lord!

Now that the elections are over, and for many the outcome is disheartening, allow me to share a few words with you.

Psalm 37:1-13 A Psalm of David

“Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity.  For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.  Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.  He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.  Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; do not fret—it only causes harm. For evildoers shall be cut off; but those who wait on the LORD, they shall inherit the Earth. For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more; indeed, you will look carefully for his place, but it shall be no more.  But the meek shall inherit the Earth, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes at him with his teeth. The Lord laughs at him; for He sees that his day is coming.”

There has been much intercession and concerted prayer for the condition of our nation. We know the vote cast on November 6th represents much more than the election of a man to an office.  (Yes, we need to continue to pray fervently for this man.) The U.S. election of November 6th represented the belief system or worldview of the people, and in this election, the majority of the people.  It is for this reality I am grieved. The viewpoint of the electorate in the United States has shifted from the orthodox Scriptural values upon which this country was founded to a more plural synchronistic view of non-absolutes.  This has resulted in an inability for leaders and people alike to recognize national actions, which bring the consequences of God’s national judgments. However, it is not time to shrink back in intercession, speaking the truth, standing up for life, defending marriage, or empowering the poor, but now is the time for action!  What the people of this country need is the Gospel of Jesus Christ! As darkness envelopes the light shines brighter!” In Matthew 5:16, Jesus tells us to “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven.”  Jesus, You are the Light of the World! Shine, Jesus Shine, through us: May the Grace and Peace of Christ Jesus overwhelm you today!
